The Global Gathering for Early Childhood
Inspired by the concept of connection and reconnection, Early Childhood Ireland is responding to the call of the Gathering and extending a warm invitation for all to join us in Dublin on 16-19 October 2013.
The Global Gathering for Early Childhood will extend a real ‘Céad Míle Fáilte’ to all our colleagues from around the world. Over the three days of our Gathering we hope to disrupt your thinking, challenge your creativity and through dialogue discover new ideas, new people and new places.
At the conference we want to discuss, challenge, celebrate and consider new and better ways of supporting young children’s well-being, learning and development in our communities. We want to draw on the expertise and experience from home and abroad to learn from the past and create a better future for our children.
The Gathering will provide a platform for discussion and Dublin will provide the backdrop and setting for a cultural experience. We will blend work with pleasure and we want you to come to the party. Built into the busy schedule of the conference will a mix of keynotes, workshops, seminars and poster presentations set in the Aviva Stadium poised between the sea and the City. Our reception, gala dinner and social programme will showcase the best of Dublin and Ireland, its history, culture and music. Join with us and become ‘More Irish than the Irish Themselves’ or in our words ‘Níos Gaelaí ná na Gaeil iad féin'.
